The Wedding 3.24.12

All is well! The wedding was amazing. Stephen (my son) was thrilled beyond words and Britney was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.  The wedding was held at The Wright House in Mesa AZ. We had several friends and family from Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Missouri and even Korea here to help us celebrate. Everything about it went perfectly. We could not have asked for better weather or better friends and family. I am so proud of Stephen and Britney and all they have been through, accomplished and where they are headed. What a wonderful young couple. I'm a proud Mama.

March Update

Hi friends, sorry I haven't been here in a while. The wedding is only 5 days away and we are in full wedding mode! I am so excited for my son and his lovely fiance, but I am ready to get this over with. We have 18 people coming in and staying here for the weekend! It's going to be a little crazy.

I hope to be back stampin', crafting and posting on a regular basis after all the shin-dings are done.

Please keep Britney and Stephen, (bride & groom) and of course everyone traveling in your prayers. I appreciate your support and hope you'll be back when I post some new projects!

Retired Stamps for Sale

Hello all, sorry it's been a few days since I been here to post. It's a little bit busy, helping to plan for my son's wedding on March 24th. We are so excited, but it sure does take its toll on the stampin time! Anyway, as you know the new catalog comes out  June 1st. I am so excited, as usual, however my stamp room is nearly full. LNS Challenge #161 - Dots & Stripes

This is a card I made for the Late Night Stampers Challenge #161. We had to use the picture of the cake below as our inspiration for our card.

2-Pocket Card

This great card was shown at the Phoenix Regional. I have made a few little additions to it just to personalize it, but the folds are what were shown and it is a fabulous display of designer paper!

Acrylic Desktop Set

Hi friends, today's project is one of two from my February Hostess Club. We made 2 great projects using designer paper, ribbon, punches and so much more.

This first project is the desk caddy. It's made from a 5X7 or 6X4 acrylic frame.  Add designer paper, ribbon, sticky notes, calendar and pen and you have a great little gift or your own note pad. Change the designer paper to fit any style.

"Tea-rific" Birthday

Today's card is one I made for my Hostess Club swap and for LNS Challenge 159. My swap requirement was a birthday card using card stock, no designer paper or ribbons.  I absolutely LOVE the Tea Shoppe set in the occasions mini catalog.

I used several products for this card. It begins with card stock in River Rock,  Bravo Burgundy and Blushing Bride.  I stamped in classic ink in Bravo Burgundy. I used the Big Shot with Framed Tulips embossing folder and the new Paper Doily Sizzlits Die. I also used a few punches and of course 2 fabulous stamp sets, Tea Shoppe and Morning Cup.
