Bags & Tags

This are the gift bags and matching tags we made for a holiday class. There are 4 sizes of bags all made using designer paper and ribbon. I also used several punches to make the decorative tags. Be sure to use Sticky Strip to get a sturdy bag.

You can actually make bags in any size, just be sure to measure carefully.

I missed a day :(

I am spending time helping my neice and her daughter (age 22 months) in Clovis NM. I wasn't able to post yesterday because we had to drive to Lubbock, TX to take the baby to the doctor to find out she has a cold. Great, thanks for the info doc.

On a good note, she had a better night last than the night before. She is better today, but still stuffy. Whatever happened to baby decongestant? It was so useful for sick little ones.

Tri-Fold Friends

This beautiful card is perfect for any friend, mom, sister, daughter or other wonderful lady in your life. As you can tell, I really like the purples and this card shows it beautifully. It's a tri-fold card so it is something just a little extra! I used the Vintage Vogue stamp set, Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, Certainly Celery and Whisper White card stock. I stamped with Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive and Basic Black classic ink. I added edges to the flower using a Rich Razzleberry marker.  All the layers on the left are punched using the Ticket Corner punch.  Don't forget to use your Simply Scored to make the tri-fold.

Butterflies and Big Shot

As promised, here are the details of the projects I showed you a few days ago. This first one is a card I made for a class on the Big Shot. It uses several Big Shot items and is beautiful for almost any occasion. It starts with card stock in Concord Crush, Blushing Bride and Whisper White.  I used 2 embossing folders, the Finial Press and Square Lattice, then I punched out butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit with some of the card stock and Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper. The stamp set I used is Upsy Daisy in Concord Crush Classic Ink. I hope you enjoy it!

Mini Album & Instructions

Today's project is a great little mini album from a Late Night Stampers event during convention 2011. I used it as a  Hostess Club project for this month.  I changed up the colors and the front decorations. For my mini album I started with a 12 X 12 piece of Sahara Sand Card Stock, I also used Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla card stock as my coordinating colors. I added Crumb Cake Ribbon to my tags. I used Chocolate Chip Ink to stamp an image from the new Apothecary Art stamp set. I punched out the label on the Big Shot using the new Labels Collection Framelits Die.

My First Post!

Well here it is, my first blog post! So in this blog I plan to post projects along with instructions that I have made in the past or will soon make. I will post about Stampin Up, other great paper crafters and anything else I think is important at the moment. If you have any comments (only nice ones please) go ahead and make them. I will also talk a lot about my boys, my wonderful husband, my fabulous mom and sister and of course my nieice, her darling baby and other family things, at least once in a while. However, I do plan to make this blog about STAMPING! Thanks for taking the time read it. I hope you enjoy it.
