Retired Stamps for Sale

Hello all, sorry it's been a few days since I been here to post. It's a little bit busy, helping to plan for my son's wedding on March 24th. We are so excited, but it sure does take its toll on the stampin time! Anyway, as you know the new catalog comes out  June 1st. I am so excited, as usual, however my stamp room is nearly full. I really need to sale some of these gorgeous retired sets to make room for new ones. Here is my list. If you are interested please contact me. Prices do not include shipping. Shipping is in addition, but not marked up. Once I know the shipping address, I'll get an exact cost.

LNS Challenge #161 - Dots & Stripes

This is a card I made for the Late Night Stampers Challenge #161. We had to use the picture of the cake below as our inspiration for our card.

2-Pocket Card

This great card was shown at the Phoenix Regional. I have made a few little additions to it just to personalize it, but the folds are what were shown and it is a fabulous display of designer paper!

Acrylic Desktop Set

Hi friends, today's project is one of two from my February Hostess Club. We made 2 great projects using designer paper, ribbon, punches and so much more.

This first project is the desk caddy. It's made from a 5X7 or 6X4 acrylic frame.  Add designer paper, ribbon, sticky notes, calendar and pen and you have a great little gift or your own note pad. Change the designer paper to fit any style.

"Tea-rific" Birthday

Today's card is one I made for my Hostess Club swap and for LNS Challenge 159. My swap requirement was a birthday card using card stock, no designer paper or ribbons.  I absolutely LOVE the Tea Shoppe set in the occasions mini catalog.

I used several products for this card. It begins with card stock in River Rock,  Bravo Burgundy and Blushing Bride.  I stamped in classic ink in Bravo Burgundy. I used the Big Shot with Framed Tulips embossing folder and the new Paper Doily Sizzlits Die. I also used a few punches and of course 2 fabulous stamp sets, Tea Shoppe and Morning Cup.

Phoenix Regional

Here I am at the Phoenix Convention Center with about 300 other stampers seeing new products, fantastic demonstrations, beautiful make-n-takes and of course Prize Patrol. I just won the "Totally A-maze-ing" stamp set & a set of Maze Games.

Catalog Announcement

Stampin Up announced a few weeks ago that they are changing the catalogs. The current Idea Book & Catalog will expire May 31, 2012.  Here are the details:

Annual Catalog

• The annual catalog will run from June 1, 2012 (preorder in May) through May 31, 2013.
• The annual catalog will be reduced from over 240 pages in the current Idea Book & Catalog to 208 pages.
• The annual catalog will be printed on lighter-weight paper.
• The annual catalog will cost $15.00 US

Mini Catalogs

There are also changes to mini catalogs.  The Occasions, Summer, and Holiday Mini Catalogs will be replaced by two seasonal catalogs called the Holiday Catalog and the Spring Catalog.

• The first Holiday Catalog will run from August 1, 2012 (preorder in July). through the beginning of January, 2013
• The first Spring Catalog will run from the beginning of January, 2013 (preorder in December) through May 31, 2013.

The seasonal catalogs will be larger in both size (8 1/2" x 11") and page count (about 40 pages) than the current mini catalogs.

Another note worthy bit of information is that the Decor Elements and Simply Adorned lines are being discontinued. Here is SU's comment on this:
"Why are you discontinuing Décor Elements and Simply Adorned?A: We love these products as much as anyone! However, the past years have proved that these lines are simply not strong sellers overall. Discontinuing these lines enables us to 1) decrease the cost of the annual catalog for you, and 2) focus on popular products that enhance papercrafting as well as help you increase your sales."
