Acrylic Desktop Set

Hi friends, today's project is one of two from my February Hostess Club. We made 2 great projects using designer paper, ribbon, punches and so much more.

This first project is the desk caddy. It's made from a 5X7 or 6X4 acrylic frame.  Add designer paper, ribbon, sticky notes, calendar and pen and you have a great little gift or your own note pad. Change the designer paper to fit any style.

¨ Start with an acrylic frame, either 5 X 7 or 4 X 6

¨ Cut a piece of light weight cardboard equal size to frame

¨ Cut designer paper 1” around larger than the size
¨ Use Tombow glue on cardboard and place glue side down in center of back of designer paper
¨ Use bone folder to crease edges
¨ Use SNAIL to adhere the edges up on the cardboard
¨ Trim corners
¨ Slide covered cardboard into frame
¨ Place 2 glue dots on corner back of frame to keep from flopping
¨ Tie coordinating ribbon around top
¨ Attach calendar and 3” post it note using Sticky Strip
¨ Attach pen onto ribbon
