Simple and Step It Up

Hello friends, I'm finally back to stamping and hosting club. It's so nice to be back! At last night's club we made two great cards, one simple and one "Stepped Up". Here are both cards, complete with instructions.

Here is the simple version of my card. It uses Pear Pizzazz
card stock, Flirtatious Specialty Designer Paper,   Lace Ribbon Border punch, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Tea Shoppe stamp set, Baker's Twine, Markers and Classic Inks

Of course you add a little more, but be sure to keep it simple. When you have the time Step It Up by adding more layers, more embellishment and of course some bling.

Step It Up
I added a layer of Whisper White that has been embossed on the Big Shot with Stripes Embossing folder, added a layer of Pear Pizzazz Pleated Ribbon, a strip of color for the sentiment and of course a Basic Rhinestone Jewel on a punched out flower!

 Simple Card:

• Pear Pizzazz Base 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score to 8 1/4 X 5 1/2
• Punch Flirtatious Designer Paper (Wisteria Wonder pattern) using Lace Ribbon Border
• Attach to front, just below center
• Whisper White Card 2 1/4 X 4
• Use 2 1/2” Circle Punch to round top
• Stamp “Cup” from Tea Shoppe, coloring with Wisteria Wonder marker
• Stamp “Flower” from Tea Shoppe colored with Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizzazz Marker
• Stamp “Thanks” in Pear Pizzazz below the cup
• Use Pear Pizzazz to ink the edges of the tag
• Color Baker’s Twine using Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink and Maker, create little bow
• Attach bow to Mini Clothespin with Glue Dot
• Attach Clothespin to top of “tag”
• Attach to front of card

Step It Up:

• Pear Pizzazz Base 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score to 8 1/4 X 5 1/2
• Punch Flirtatious Designer Paper (Wisteria Wonder pattern) using Lace Ribbon Border
• Whisper White 4 X 5 1/4, add texture with Big Shot Embossing Folder. Before embossing, use Pear Pizzazz  Ink Pad to add color on the embossing folder
• Attach Lace Ribbon to front of embossed White
• Layer with Pleated Satin Ribbon
• Use 2 1/2” Circle Punch to round top
• Stamp “Cup” from Tea Shoppe, coloring with Wisteria Wonder marker
• Stamp “Flower” from Tea Shoppe colored with Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizzazz Marker
• Color Baker’s Twine using Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink and Maker, create little bow
• Attach bow to Mini Clothespin with Glue Dot
• Stamp another “Flower” from Tea Shoppe, same as before, cut out or use Itty Bitty Shapes Punch and layer on top of flower
• Add Basic Rhinestone Jewel to center of flower
• Stamp “Thanks” on Pear Pizzazz, cut as a flag, attach below cup on tag
• Attach a piece of Pleated Satin Ribbon under the clothespin
• Use Pear Pizazz to ink the edges of the tag
• Attach tag using Stampin' Dimensionals
